Hi! I’m Allison.

Back when the new school year started in August of 1981, I was in the 9th grade and new to High School. I had a class called Home Economics and the first unit was sewing. It was all girls in the class and we were told which pattern to purchase and what materials we needed. We used Simplicity 9851. My first sewing project was this skirt. This is not the exact pattern I used, but a copy I found on Etsy. It’s never been cut! That’s when I started sewing and I’m still sewing. I love it!!

I’ve sewn many different things since then, with quilting being my favorite.
